RANCH INFORMATION

Brief History of The Ranch:

BOSS has been involved in agriculture for over 50 years. BOSS Ranch evolved during 1960’s in the San Angelo, Texas area. Over the years there were several lease properties for beef cattle production and hunting. In 1988, (Bob) Robert R. Buescher Sr., leased the Hess Ranch in Brewster County, Texas and was able to purchase the ranch in 1993.   This ranch had been in his family for over 100 years.  In December of 1995, Bob passed away at the ranch doing exactly what he loved.  BOSS Ranch continues to raise Quality Braford Cattle and offers Premier West Texas Hunting Experiences. With each hunt we apply the experience, professionalism, and dedication that has been the pattern of success for over 50 years.

BOSS Ranch is located in the Glass Mountains of West Texas.  About half of the ranch is mountainous and the other half is flat prairie.  Elevations range from 4,280ft. to 5,870ft.  A wide variety of hunting opportunities are offered throughout the year.
